Winning LEGO Yu-Gi-Oh! Set Officially Announced – The Heart of the Cards – Exodia!
Cast your memories back to February of this year, when LEGO Ideas launched a challenge to create a Yu-Gi-Oh! inspired set. Today the winner has officially been announced!
From 100s of fan designs, just five entered the fan vote, but now there is one left standing, ‘The Heart of the Cards – Exodia’ by Step-on-a-Brick. The idea will be headed over to the LEGO Ideas team who will tweak it ready to become a future LEGO Ideas set next year. The design features brick-built replicas of the cards themselves with Exodia ‘emerging’ from them, creating a dynamic display that pays homage to the very first episode of the show. The central structure makes the entire model sturdy and easy to move. Meanwhile, Exodia’s upper body can be rotated and his arms and head can be moved. Similarly, Yugi also offers multiple points of articulation, allowing for different poses.
