Ten DC Covers LEGO Could And Should Make Into Sets!

With the recent announcement of The Joker LEGO Art set, we took it upon ourselves to search for other DC covers that could and should be turned into LEGO works of art!

The DC universe has over 30,000 characters, across its extended history, multiverses, and various media. The comic books feature countless one-off bystanders, alternate versions, and background villains, making an exact count near impossible. There are around 2,000 to 5,000 Core & Recurring Heroes/Villains, like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, alongside regular supporting casts and major antagonists. Choosing 10 covers that LEGO could recreate was a hard task, it had me up until the early hours, sifting through many awesome comic covers.

Seeing The Joker come to life in the upcoming LEGO The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover (67012) set, it showed a different side to the Danish brick brand that we’ve never seen before. They chose to recreate the iconic cover of Detective Comics #880 from 2011, it depicts The Joker’s head made up of several LEGO Batman elements such as Batarangs and Bats. In the comic it sees Batman hunting The Joker in the sewers beneath Gotham City, it’s a scary-looking cover with the terrifying grin of The Joker standing out in bright red against a rather black and white background. Releasing January 1st 2027, the 1,849 piece Art set will retail for £149.99 / $169.99 / €169.99.

Below are 10 DC covers that we think would look awesome recreated with LEGO bricks and pieces. Featuring some of our favourite heroes from the world of DC, including Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Nightwing, and others. Are there any we’ve missed that would look great as a LEGO set?
