LEGO Wallace & Gromit Event Welcomed Dogs And Their Owners For a Grand Day Out!

Wallace & Gromit fans and theirs dogs attended a special event at the Battersea Power Station LEGO store yesterday to celebrate the launch of the set!

The trendy store opened it’s doors early as it welcomed dogs and their owners to check out the new LEGO Ideas Wallace & Gromit (21371) set. To celebrate the launch of the first-ever Wallace & Gromit brick set on October 1st, the Battersea Power Station store opened an hour earlier than usual at 8am. There was a life-sized recreation of Wallace & Gromit’s iconic red motorbike and sidecar, making for a pawfect photo opportunity for pooches and their owners. That’s now all, visitors could also grab a free bespoke postcard and limited-edition LEGO Passport.

Ahead of the doors opening, LEGO fan, Lauren, owner of Loki the terrier, said,

Loki’s been up since 6am for this, so I’d say he’s a pretty dedicated Gromit fan… although I might be giving him a bit too much credit! I couldn’t resist bringing him along, and getting a picture of him on the sidecar is definitely one we’ll treasure

LEGO and Wallace & Gromit fans in Bristol will also have the opportunity to meet the creative masterminds behind the new set at an exclusive designer signing event. Tomorrow, Saturday October 3rd, between 10am and 11am, LEGO Ideas designer Sébastien Esnault, plus LEGO designers Ellen Bowley and Tom Gerardin, will be at the CribbsLEGO Store.
