LEGO Superhero Legends Issue 23 – HobGoblin Minifigure and Glider!

LEGO Magazines can be very hit & miss, some issues have amazing offerings, whilst others are hardly worth the money with repeat characters and builds. The latest edition of the Marvel Superhero Legends : Spider-Man magazine is one of the good ones, it comes with a very cool HobGoblin Minifigure and Glider!

For fans in the UK and Europe, the range of LEGO Magazines has been around for several years now and are a great way to bag once exclusive Minifigures. Over the years we’ve had a rare Darth Vader with arm printing, a number of cool DreamZzz villains, awesome Ninjago masters, and so many more. The latest issue of the Spider-Man magazine comes packed with awesome content for younger fans, including puzzles, comics, posters, and more. For fans of any age though the bundled Minifigure is where it’s at, HobGoblin is one of those characters that doesn’t get much air time in LEGO form, so when he comes along it’s worth picking up, especially with the moulded orange cape.

Appearing in just one set, which has recently retired, LEGO Peter Parker’s Apartment Set (76317) retailed for £44.99. It comprised of Peter Parker’s apartment and 3 Minifigures, including this hard-caped HobGoblin. Being an exclusive Minifigure the prices on the secondary market are currently reaching £20+ (in the UK), this may change once more of these magazines go into circulation, but you definitely won’t be able to beat the cost of £5.50 for that and a cool Glider sidebuild.

The Minifigure itself has amazing printing on the torsos and legs, as it comes with a rubbery helmet and cape. It’s a fun character to collect and display, it would be perfect for adding to the LEGO Daily Bugle set and others. The glider is made up of some great parts too, including two purple wings and SNOT (studs not on top) elements – it certainly is a well rounded Minifigure and sidebuild!

The LEGO Magazine can be picked up from most good newsagents and supermarkets, such as ASDA, Tesco, Morrisons, and Sainsbury’s, to mention a few. If you can’t get to a store please don’t fret, they may be available to order online at MagsDirect, they even ship Worldwide!
