LEGO Ideas Build, Paint and Play! (40889) Officially Announced!

LEGO has officially unveiled the next Ideas gift with purchase set, introducing the LEGO Ideas Build, Paint and Play! (40889)!

Releasing October 28th, the 158 piece set will be free with spends of £115 / $130 / €130 or more on all LEGO products, both in-store and online. The set was the winning build from the ‘Build Your Favorite Hobby‘ challenge from last year. It features a cutting tool, sprue, glue, paint and a brush. The paint is labelled with the actual LEGO paint colours, and an astronaut Minifigure serves as the final product of this build-within-a-build. Display the model as a fun piece of décor for an office desk, bookshelf or coffee table centrepiece.

Unfortunately there’s no confirmed end date for the promotion, it is expected to be popular so we recommend making a qualifying purchase sooner rather than later. Check out the images below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
