LEGO Hello Kitty Rumoured For 2027 – What Would You Like To See?
There is currently a rumour circling the brickweb that Hello Kitty could be a future LEGO theme!
Instagram user BrickTap has reported that Hello Kitty will be making its LEGO debut in January 2027. Hello Kitty (real name Kitty White) is a globally recognised character created by the Japanese company Sanrio in 1974. Despite her feline appearance, she is officially a cheerful, third-grade British little girl living outside London. She famously has no mouth, a design choice meant to allow fans to freely project their own emotions onto her.
If the rumours are true this will be the next big IP to get the LEGO treatment, following in the footsteps of Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Winnie the Pooh, and other popular characters. What the sets will actually entail is anyone’s guess, we speculate a series of LEGO Animal Crossing style offerings with specially moulded head pieces, we could also see a large buildable figure similar in size to LEGO Gizmo. What would you like to see from the potential LEGO Hello Kitty theme? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
With a bit of imagination and thanks to many projects on the LEGO Ideas platform, we don’t have to look far at what a potential collaboration would look like. Please take the rumour above with a pinch of salt, it won’t be confirmed for quite sometime if at all. Please watch this space for when it drops.
