It follows Daniel Hillard (the late brilliant Robin Williams), an immature but loving voice actor who loses custody of his three children after divorcing his wife, Miranda (Sally Field). Desperate to be near his kids, Daniel disguises himself as an elderly, stern yet lovable Scottish nanny named Euphegenia Doubtfire and gets hired by his ex-wife.
