Custom Printed LEGO Stargate Minifigures And Minibuild Display!

When it comes to Minifigures and custom printed ones, we can’t get enough of the cool retro callbacks to our childhood, especially from a sci-fi classic such as Stargate. The team at Minifigs.me (affiliate link) have done it yet again and produced the four main characters from the 1997 SG-1 TV show.

In the late 90s I would have been around 13 years old and very much into sci-fi programs and movies. The original Stargate movie was a breath of fresh air and opened up the genre more to me, having this gate that could transport you to a completely different planet was incredible. The TV show followed the team on more adventures, although with different actors portraying them. The main characters were a mix of military brawn, historical prowess, and pure nerdiness. As much as I liked Jack O’Neill, it was Dr Daniel Jackson that intrigued me the most.

If you’re unfamiliar with the TV show, the Stargate franchise is a military science fiction universe centered on a ring-shaped alien device called the Stargate, which creates a wormhole for instantaneous travel across the universe. Based on the original 1994 feature film, the television series follow Earth’s military and scientific teams as they explore alien planets, battle hostile parasitic extraterrestrials, and uncover ancient technologies.

Minifigs.me have designed and printed the Stargate SG-1 team as Minifigures along with a brick-built (mixed with 3D printed parts) display plinth. The Minifigures look absolutely stunning, complete with their individual character personalities. Taken from their on-screen counterparts, they are sporting military attire. Using genuine LEGO parts as a base, the attention to detail is fantastic, with full head, torso, arm, and leg printing. The display plinth is a combination of 43 genuine LEGO parts & 4x custom 3D-printed parts, making for an awesome centrepiece for any fans collection.
