Norwegian Air Flights From Manchester To Billund Start April 2027!

No it’s not an early April Fools joke, you’ll soon be able to fly from Manchester to Billund with Norwegian Air!

When Ryanair stopped their flights to the home of the brick, Norwegian Air took up the mantle. Fans can currently jump on a plane from Heathrow, Gatwick and Edinburgh airports, but from April 1st, 2027, Norwegian Air will be flying direct to Billund from Manchester. The flights will run twice weekly from Terminal 2, on Thursdays and Sundays. The flight time is roughly 1hr 35mins, making a day of it extremely doable.

As the North’s biggest and best airport, we’re proud to connect people from across the region with a wide variety of destinations – many of which, including Billund, are not served by any other airport in our catchment area.

For Lego afficionados, Manchester is already the airport of choice, thanks to our hugely popular Lego Store in T2 Departures – and you can now make that store the first stop on a Lego-themed mini break with a difference.”

Stephen Turner – Chief Commercial Officer, Manchester Airport

Manchester already has three LEGO stores, as well as a LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, and now easier access to the LEGO House in Billund. There’s more to Billund than just the resort, the town hosts enough LEGO-themed attractions to keep enthusiasts busy for days, with a LEGO Holiday Village, LEGO Hotel, LEGO-themed Sea Life Centre and of course the LEGO House – a post-modern building designed to look like it is built from giant LEGO bricks, housing a LEGO museum.
