LEGO Super Mario Minifigures Are Finally Coming In 2027!

Keep calm, it’s finally happening… LEGO Super Mario Minifigures are coming!

The news comes from both LEGO and Nintendo in a shared social media post today, MAR10 Day. Following the announcement of the Luigi & Mach 8 (72050) earlier today, we now have a short video trading the very first of hopefully many Super Mario inspired Minifigures. In the video we see Mario jumping out of a pipe, in Minifigure form, complete with a new moulded head piece. Since the very first LEGO Super Mario set fans have wanted Minifigures of the characters since the themed debut in 2020, although we have to wait until 2027 for their release, the news of Minifigures is very exciting. 

While Mario is the only Minifigure seen in the video, the mention of multiple sets hints at more – which begs the question: who should LEGO introduce as Minifigures?
