Mattel Brick Shop Unveils First Nissan Set With The 1971 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R!

Mattel Brick Shop has unveiled a new Hot Wheels set, introducing the 1971 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R!

The 833 piece set will be cruising into stores and online January 2027, and will retail for $59.99 (USD). The set re-creates the legendary 1971 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R at 1:16 scale. It’s decked out in the classic red and white racing livery, it features functional steering, opening doors, and a front hood, which pops open to reveal a detailed brick-built engine. As usual with Mattel Brick Shop sets, builders can customise the set with decals, interchangeable wheel covers, and a signature metal plate. As standard it comes with a matching 1:64 die-cast model, which is exclusive the set.
