Avengers Doomsday Trailer Has Landed – What Does This Mean For LEGO?

The latest Marvel Studios Avengers Doomsday trailer has dropped and it shows quite a few friendly and missed faces, including Thor and Captain America, no not the Falcon – the original!

But what does this have to do with LEGO I hear your cry, well, LEGO has produced many sets over the years based on the many phases the MCU has gone through. Whilst watching the trailer (below) we can let our imagination run wild with potential ideas for sets. From what looks like a broken group of Superheroes, in their smaller factions, we can expect to see these represented in smaller focused sets. Whilst the battle scenes are far and few between, we can speculate there will be some epic ones, these will be recreated in numerous sets too that will no doubt cost a small fortune. An updated Doctor Doom Minifigure has been a highly requested one, it looks as though it will become a reality, not only coming in the 2027 LEGO Advent Calendar but he could and should show up in LEGO Avengers Doomsday sets.

Avengers Doomsday will be one of the year’s biggest movies, produced by Marvel Studios and scheduled for release in cinemas on December 18, 2026. Directed by the Russo Brothers (Anthony and Joe Russo) and written by Stephen McFeely, it serves as the highly anticipated 39th film in the MCU. The narrative centres on a multiverse-crossing crisis where beloved heroes from three distinct universes collide. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes must unite to face an unprecedented existential threat brought about by the malevolent Doctor Doom.
