LEGO Ideas La Catrina (21372) Officially Unveiled and Coming August!

LEGO has officially revealed the next Ideas set, introducing La Catrina (21372)!

Gracefully gliding into LEGO stores and online 1st August, the 1212 piece set will retail for £109.99/$139.99/€119.99. The set is inspired by Día de los Muertos or the Day of the Dead, and was chosen by the LEGO Ideas team back in October, making it quite a quick turnaround. The fan designer, yop1172, reimagined Mexico’s central symbol with great detail, which lead to the official design team to product what we see below, a highly detailed, elegantly clothed LEGO skeleton figure. Attach brick-built marigolds and printed sugar skull decorations to her hat and dress. Place La Catrina on the base adorned with more marigolds and a brick-built monarch butterfly. Put the other butterfly in her hand and pose her head and arms to change up your display.
