Custom LEGO Tintin & Friends Minifigures By Minifigs.me!

Tintin and his friends (and enemies) have been recreated as custom printed LEGO Minifigures thanks to Minifigs.me!

Fans of the young Belgian reporter named Tintin and his trusty dog Snowy, can now grab the characters in their usual outfits, as opposed to the spacesuits worn in the LEGO Tintin Moon Rocket (21367) set. Minifigs.me have reproduced not just the main characters but also a couple of friends, Captain Haddock and Professor Calculus, and the troublesome Thomson and Thompson. For those that haven’t heard of or know a lot a it Tintin, he is an intrepid, globe-trotting protagonist of The Adventures of Tintin, a world-famous European comic series created in 1929 by the Belgian cartoonist Hergé. Recognized by his signature upward-pointing quiff hairstyle and accompanied by his loyal fox terrier, Snowy, the boy reporter solves crimes and uncovers mysteries worldwide.

Minifigs.me have designed and printed the characters onto genuine LEGO parts, each with their own personal attributes that make them who they are. Captain Haddock with this scruffy beard and sailors sweater, Professor Calculus with his peculiar moustache, round glasses and bright green suit. Thomson and Thompson are essentially the same bar a slightly different moustache design, despite not being twins, many fans think they are. Last bust not least we have Tintin and Snowy, these look just like their comic book and on-screen counterparts in their casual attire. The blue jumper and dark nougat trousers for Tintin looks great although perhaps a little dark when compared. Snowy is represented as a LEGO Friends dog figure, which for me doesn’t quite work, but I understand the decision as LEGO are lacking in the dog department and the official LEGO Snowy is rather expensive.

Using genuine LEGO parts as a base, the attention to detail is fantastic, with full head, torso and leg printing, they even come with their own custom accessories.
